Am Samstag, den 21.6 und am Sonntag, den 22.6.25 findet das Animation Festival Munich
wieder im Werkstattkino statt.
Im Vorfeld gibt es die Möglichkeit, beim Comicfestival einen Trickfilmworkshop zu besuchen, jeweils am 19. und 20.6. in der alten Kongresshalle. Geeignet für alle ab ca. 9 Jahren.
Die in den Workshops entstandenen Filme können am Festivalwochenende im Werkstattkino gekuckt werden.

Schaut Euch unbedingt auch das Programm vom Comicfestival an, da gibt es großartige Gelegenheiten zum Zeichnen, zum Austausch, zum lesen u.v.m.!
Am Samstag, dem 21.6., werden tagsüber ausschliesslich für Kinder geeignete Filme gezeigt. Am späten Nachmittag bekommt das Festival dann hohen Besuch: der Disney Zeichner Andreas Deja wird seine Keynote ‘9 Old Men’ präsentieren und viele schöne Zeichnungen zeigen.
Am Sonntag werden ‘erwachsenere’ Kurzfilme gezeigt, sowie ein wunderschöner Kurzfilm von Andreas Deja: MUSHKA. Im Anschluss gibt es eine Preisverleihung für den besten Wettbewerbsfilm.
Der Eintritt ist frei.
A first look at the programme
The Animation Festival Munich will take place on Saturday, June 21st and Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at Werkstattkino in Munich.
There will be Animation Workshops on Thursday, June 19th, and Friday, June 20th, at the Comicfestival at Alte Kongresshalle. The workshops are open for ages 9 and upwards. The workshop results will be screened on Saturday, June 21st at the Werkstattkino.

On Saturday, June 21st, we will show beautiful short films suitable for children. Later that afternoon, our special guest, Disney Animator Andreas Deja, will present his keynote '9 Old Men'.
Sunday, June 22nd, will be dedicated to the more 'grown up' part of the competition. Andreas Deja will show his short film MUSHKA, and a Making Of of MUSHKA.
This will be followed by a small awards ceremony for the winning film.
Entry is free.

Eleven animation professionals, experienced in all types of animation - from classic 2D on paper, stop motion, paper and cut-out animation, pixelation, character and concept design, layout, storyboard, storytelling, to post production, animation production, VFX, 3D, CG, VR, you name it.
